American Brewmaster is a homebrew and wine-making supply store and we currently package malt extract from 55-gallon plastic drums. Recently, we began turning the empty barrels into rain barrels with a few simple fittings and they work surprisingly well. You can hook a garden hose to the spout and the top has a screen on it to prevent debris from entering the barrel. They are $65. You can also cut the barrels in half to make a great temporary planter!
